Tired of the same default ringtone? Setting a custom ringtone is easier than you think. This guide walks you through the entire process for every major phone platform — whether you've got the latest iPhone or any Android device.

Android makes it simple to use any MP3 file as your ringtone. Here's how:

Step 1: Download the MP3 File

Browse our ringtone collection and find a sound you love.
Tap the "Download MP3" button on the ringtone page.
The file will save to your Downloads folder automatically.

Step 2: Set it as Your Ringtone

Open Settings on your Android device.
Go to Sound & Vibration (or just Sound).
Tap Phone Ringtone or Ringtone.
Tap "Add ringtone" or the + icon at the bottom of the list.
Navigate to your Downloads folder and select the MP3 file.
Tap OK or Save — done!

Method 1: Using GarageBand (No Computer Needed)

This is the easiest method if you don't have a Mac or PC:

Download the MP3 version of the ringtone from our site.
Open the Files app and locate the downloaded file.
Long-press the file and tap Share → GarageBand.
In GarageBand, long-press the audio track and select "Share → Ringtone".
Name your ringtone and tap Export.
When prompted, tap "Use sound as… → Standard Ringtone".

Method 2: Using a Mac or PC (iTunes / Finder)

Download the M4R file from our site to your computer.
Connect your iPhone to your computer with a USB cable.
Open Finder (macOS Catalina+) or iTunes (Windows / older macOS).
Select your iPhone in the sidebar.
Drag and drop the .m4r file onto your iPhone's name in Finder/iTunes.

Ringtone not showing up on Android?

Make sure the file is in MP3 format (not AAC or WAV).
Try restarting your phone after downloading — cached media lists can be slow to update.
Use a file manager app to move the file from Downloads to the Ringtones folder.

Ensure the file is in M4R format, not MP3.
Make sure the file is 40 seconds or shorter.
After syncing, check Settings → Sounds & Haptics → Ringtone — custom tones appear at the top, above the defaults.
